Welcome to AirFrame.One

Your footage is ready. Your editors shouldn’t have to wait.

AirFrame. One gives distributed editorial teams instant access to camera original media in Premiere, from anywhere in the world. Media lands in storage. Editors start cutting. Nothing moves.

The pipeline between capture and cut is broken.

Camera wraps. Cards get offloaded. Media gets copied, transcoded, proxied, transferred, and synced before a single editor can touch it. Every. Single. Time.

That pipeline made sense when your team was in one building. It does not make sense when your editors are in Amsterdam, London, and New York and your deadline is today.

The industry’s answer has been to move media faster. Better transfer tools, smarter proxy pipelines, cheaper cloud storage. All of it still starts from the same assumption: media has to travel to the editor before work can begin.

AirFrame. One starts from a different assumption. Media stays where it lands. Editors come to it.

Camera original media. In Premiere. Right now.

AirFrame. One connects directly to your existing S3 storage, or ingests from camera card to cloud.
From that moment, every frame is addressable.
Every editor on your team, wherever they are, sees footage in a familiar folder structure inside a browser portal, and inside their Premiere panel.
They drag a clip to the timeline and start cutting.
No download. No proxy. No wait.

This is not a virtual drive mounted over the internet.
It is not a sync tool. It is not a review platform. AirFrame. One is scalable, cloud-native, programmable media infrastructure - the layer between your storage and your editors’ timelines, rebuilt for the way global teams actually work.

Everything your editors need. Nothing they don't.

Remote editing Beach-1

No proxies. Not because we skip them. We replaced them.

A conventional proxy workflow transcodes your source media into a lighter file format in advance, stores that proxy file alongside the original, and serves it to remote editors. The proxy has to be generated before anyone can use it, and it occupies storage permanently.

Smart FramesTM works differently. When an editor plays a clip or scrubs through footage - in the AirFrame. One portal or in the Premiere panel - Smart Frames generates a compressed representation of only the frames being viewed, directly from the source media in your S3 storage, at the moment of the request. A short-lived cache holds recently accessed frames for performance. No proxy files are created or stored permanently. The source master is never touched.

For editors this means immediate access to footage the moment it lands in storage, with no ingestion job to wait for. Your storage holds one copy of your media, not two. Quality levels are configurable by administrators to match your team’s available bandwidth and workflow requirements.

For productions that cannot afford to wait

For editors, not asset managers

AirFrame. One is not a MAM. It does not manage masters, metadata schemas, or asset lifecycles. It is for the editorial teams upstream of all of that, the people who need to get into footage fast and cut.

Folders, not taxonomies. Clips, not assets. Your team is productive in minutes, not after a week of onboarding.

AirFrame. One makes the MovieLabs 2030 Vision a reality today, the industry’s own definition of what production infrastructure should look like. Try it for yourself. Book a 30 min demo.

Our AVROTROS production teams have long wanted to work with media efficiently and completely location-independently, without the need to move files, in native-format media, without proxies, and with the ability to add media on location that is instantly available. AVROTROS has the ambition to establish a cloud-native post-production environment and is piloting AirFrame. One to turn these ambitions into reality.
